Japanese Garden
In 2007, after three years under construction, Bill and Evelyn Larson completed an exciting endeavor – a unique Japanese garden situated on ¾ acre next to the garden center. Featuring a Koi pond, a 1600’s thatched roof tea house, traditional bridges, “hill and stroll” and a Zen garden, this homage to the beauty and simplicity of the gardens of Japan is considered one of the finest old-world style Japanese gardens on the East Coast. The Japanese garden is open for all to enjoy from the spring through the fall at no charge, 9 am – 6 pm, seven days a week. Groups are welcome and tours can be provided.
