Zonal Geraniums

Everyone remembers red geraniums blooming in Grandma's summer garden. Called zonal because of their subtle, dark ring or "zoned" leaves, these upright geraniums come in a wide variety of colors besides many shades of red.   The plants vary in height and bushiness, but all zonal geraniums are full and lush.  With their continuous summer blooming, the uprights are most often planted directly in the garden or in any pot or planter. Zonal geraniums are a favorite as a border or an accent with other bedding plants.

Red Zonals

• Americana Cranberry Red - Bright ruby red
• Foxy - Magenta red, full bushy plant
• Maestro Bright Red - Brilliant, clear red

• Patriot Bright Red - Brilliant true red; medium height 

Pink Zonals

• Melody - Dark candy-pink, ever-blooming; well-branched compact plant

• Rocky Mountain Salmon Rose - Lovely salmon-rose with medium green foliage; vigorous, heat tolerant

Lavender Zonals

• Calypso - Attractive solid lavender flowers; moderate growth
• Maestro Deep Lavender -Vibrant magenta with white eye; compact plant growth

Coral Zonals

• Schoene Helena - Best salmon, large elegant semi-double blossoms; heat tolerant

White Zonal

• Patriot White - Large white flowers; well-formed plant; excellent garden performance
